I started in photojournalism because I like photographing unusual events during normal everyday life. I fell into newspapers while getting a degree in broadcasting. And the result is a life working in urban and rural cities. I've been lucky to drive a race car, sit on a grizzly during its root canal procedure, fly the Goodyear blimp, meet famous and not so famous people. I've covered so many high school sporting events that I counted 3/4 of my adult life was on the sidelines of one field or another. Adverbs and adjectives are how I choose to photograph. How excited? How happy? Where are they going? Who's doing what and why? It's what you find in my work.
